Solar panels for Finnish conditions
A correctly sized solar panel system generates electricity to match the property's real consumption and usage profile. We design everything from compact panel solutions to larger systems.

Designed around the property
The right sizing matters more than the number of panels
A solar panel system's size isn't determined by roof area alone. What matters is how much electricity the property uses, when that consumption happens, and how much of the production can be used directly.
For a smaller property, a tightly sized panel system can be the right answer. A larger consumer needs more production capacity and the option to add a battery to the setup later.
Electricity consumption
The system's size is matched to the property's real energy use.
What the roof allows
Available surface area, orientation and mounting method all shape the outcome.
Using your own production
The goal is a system where as much of the electricity produced as possible is used on site.

A complete system
What a good solar panel system includes
A working system isn't just about the number of panels. The panels, the inverter and the mounting solution need to work together as one whole and fit how the property is used.
Panels matched to the property
The number, output and placement of the panels are matched to the system's size and the available roof area.
An inverter sized to the system
The inverter converts the electricity the panels produce into a form the property can use, and it needs to match the system's size.
A durable mounting solution
The mounting method is chosen based on the roof type and conditions, so the whole installation is stable and properly finished.
A long service life
Solar panels are built for long-term use, and a properly installed system usually needs very little upkeep.
Production varies with the seasons, but a well-designed system makes efficient use of Finland's long, bright spring and summer days.
Smart winter technology
Producing power even on snowy days
Snow cover can temporarily stop solar panel production. The panel surface can be heated, melting the snow away so the system gets back to producing electricity sooner.
This winter feature is designed specifically for northern conditions, where snow could otherwise cover the panels for extended periods and delay production from restarting.
Faster return to production
Heating helps clear accumulated snow from the panel surface.
Built for the north
The solution supports panel operation in snowy, cold conditions.
Less manual snow clearing
Melting the snow can reduce the need to manually clean the panels.
How the project moves forward
A clear path from plan to finished system
A solar panel project moves forward step by step, from the property's starting information through design, installation and commissioning. At every stage, you know what happens next.
Reviewing the starting information
We go through the property's basic details, electricity consumption and the goals set for the system. If needed, we'll ask for additional information or photos for the design.
Designing the solution
We work out the right number of panels, system size and mounting method for the property based on the information available.
Quote and sign-off on the whole
You receive a clear proposal covering the system, its scope and what's included, before you decide.
Installation
The agreed system is installed according to the plan and connected to the property's electrical system.
Commissioning
The finished system is checked, commissioned, and we go through how it works together with you.
One plan, one whole, and a clear path from start to commissioning.
FAQ
Solar panels — frequently asked questions
Do solar panels work in Finland?
Yes. Production is concentrated from March to September, and long, bright summer days generate electricity efficiently. A properly sized system reduces the need for purchased electricity and protects against price swings.
How long do solar panels last?
Quality panels are long-lasting and require little maintenance. Many come with long performance warranties, commonly around 25 years. An inverter typically has a shorter life.
How large a system is needed?
Size is based on your annual consumption and property. Our calculator gives an indicative estimate, and the final sizing is confirmed during the assessment.
Is it worth installing solar panels if the roof doesn't face south?
Often, yes. Southeast, southwest and east–west roofs are also suitable for solar panels. We assess your property's suitability and the impact on production during the assessment.
Can a battery be added later?
Yes. You can start with solar panels and add a battery later when it suits your needs.
